Welcome to JPS

A school built by the valley, for the valley

Tucked into the Sutlej valley in Jeori, our school opened its doors in 1995 as a modest nursery school serving a handful of local families. Three decades on, it has grown into a full CBSE-affiliated institution that draws students from Jeori, Rampur, and the surrounding villages of Shimla district.

Our purpose has stayed the same even as our campus has grown: give every child a balanced education — one that pairs strong classroom learning with sports, cultural life, and the kind of discipline that builds independent, confident adults.

Why Families Choose JPS

Education measured in more than marks

Academic Excellence

A CBSE curriculum delivered with close attention to each student, from the pre-primary years through the secondary board classes.

Discipline & Character

Daily routines, assemblies, and mentorship built around responsibility, respect, and honest effort — not just rules.

Personality Development

Sports, cultural programmes, and public-speaking opportunities that help every child find their own voice.

Hostel Facility

Residential facilities for students from surrounding villages who travel too far for a daily commute.

Experienced Faculty

Teachers who know the valley and its families, and who stay closely involved in each student's progress.

A Community, Not a Campus

Small enough that every child is known by name, by teachers and the Principal alike.

Beyond the Classroom

  • Morning assembly & public speaking
  • Festival celebrations rooted in local tradition
